ReplyDeleteI don't think it randomly spawn in anywhere, it is kindly RARE.
And I could only find it near the place where you depart from your ship.
Erm, hardly can be described, erm somewhere between the middle gate and the left side gate.
And there you can see a bunch of flower, and there it is. :D

ReplyDeleteI've seen the Rainbow-Phoenix quite a few times from my experience, but only managed to catch 1 for the Fire Bird Star for Usopp. From what I know, they are pretty random AND are rare, which may make it the most difficult land creature to catch in the game. To my knowledge, they appear in 3 areas:
ReplyDelete1 - On flowers in the huge field of Floating Isle, at the beginning of the island. For a better description, its the flowers where those trees with orange bomb-fruits are, where lots of those eye monsters thingys are, and opposite the Gabri stone for the Donflamingo battle.
2 - Later into the stage, beyond the point where you first have to catch the thunder spider to go further into the stage. Make sure you get the RIGHT thunder spider. Then go straight ahead, through the enemies and across the long tree-bridge is a small patch of red flowers where either the Lightning Beetle or the Rainbow Phoenix are there.
3 - The area left from the 2nd area I just recommended. This place has lots of spawning Enforcers and Robots and a weird Tree-Cannon that keep shooting rocks at you. But before that area is another small patch of red flowers, where the Rainbow Phoenix can be found there too( Beware of the two Enforcers that appear right in front of you). Also, IN that area, there's a relatively big patch of flowers, where Lightning Beetles are commonly found there but rare for Rainbow Phoenix. Be careful no to disturb them in the slightest, and wipe out the enemies while you can. You can also find a trap spot and maybe a mole there.
These places have no guarantee that they appear there, but from my experience, I found the Rainbow Phoenix there the most. It should spawn in either of these places, but if not, then try to explore more places where there are flowers. And please note that Rainbow Phoenix's are very sensitive to your movement, so it's best not to rush the catch and take your time.
Hope this helps for those who have difficulty catching the Rainbow Phoenix.

ReplyDeleteYou should set an enhanced trap-- it usually catches one or two. I usually find the frog near one of the horrific pear trees-- hope that helps!
